Yoga with Kim

I design every session with the student in mind, whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi. I stress to students that yoga is not all about the ability to do physical poses (asana); yoga is an all ecompassing experience of breath, movement, mental agility, and spiritual growth. One of the most important things about having a regular yoga practice is the ability to take what we learn on the mat and apply it to our lives when we step off our mat. That is when the real learning begins. A regular yoga practice helps us navigate life with more grace and insight.

Class details:

  • Mats and props are provided.
  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to get settled.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.
  • Try not to eat prior to class. It is best to practice on an empty stomach.
  • Parking: Plenty of parking spaces are available and are clearly marked on the left side of the driveway.

  • Mondays 5:30-7:00pm
  • Wednesdays 9-10:30am

Fees for Classes:

  • Drop in fee is $14.00 per class
  • Any 5 classes for $65.00
  • Any 10 Classes for $120.00

**I never want finances to keep someone from attending yoga classes. If you are unable to pay the fee, please contact me prior to class.**

Kim’s classes are well-planned and include breath exercises (pranayama), yoga poses (asanas), and a final wonderful dose of total relaxation (savasana). Yoga has become an important facet of my life in the last 10 years as I have aged. ( 61 years old) I try to go to two classes a week since I am not self motivated at home. Kim is a wonderful teacher. She and I met as students in a class and I have been fortunate to see her grow and bloom into the yogi she is today. I had been intrigued with yoga as a more gentle way to keep in shape and was fortunate to find Kim. She doesn’t push but encourages. She is able to individualize for different levels. The area that Kim helped me most was encouraging me to relax and breathe. I am now present where I was once stressed. As a result, her classes helped me become more conscious of my core, encouraged me to challenge areas without hurting myself, and I learned to understand and accept stress triggers and breathe through them. Hey Kim, just thought I’d put into words what a wonderful experience yoga classes (my 1st) were at the Sprott Center. As you remember, I was working with a landscaper at the time and suffered by the end of each day with exhaustion and discomfort. I dreaded my first session mainly for not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by your patience and knowledge that led to immediate relief…afterward tired and sore but in the best of ways. I never knew I could have so much flexibility. Your suggestions for morning stretching has also relieved my chronic sciatica, and I never get out of bed before doing them.
I was very sad when you decided to end classes at Sprott but now so very excited that the pursuit of your passion for healing arts will soon be a reality at your new home studio. Sign me up!!

Kim is a great yoga instructor. She is really easy going, has a chill vibe, and always explains the poses if you need guidance. Her classes are fun and I always feel great at the end of class. I highly recommend her! Yvette
